Three forms of counsel,
each at its own pace.

Sirincou offers a small, considered range of engagements. Each is designed for a different situation — but all share the same working principles.

THE METHOD

How every engagement begins

Every Sirincou engagement begins the same way: with a period of unhurried observation. Before any observation is offered, before any written note is made, the advisor spends time simply attending to the organisation — its working rhythms, its informal conversations, the texture of its days.

This is not a delay. It is the work. Most consultants arrive with conclusions already forming; the observation period is the time needed to let a different kind of reading emerge — one that responds to what is actually present rather than to what a template suggests should be there.

Each engagement then takes its own shape: the Quiet Audit produces a written observation at its close; the Long Companion produces a series of reflections across a working year; Generational Counsel produces whatever written records the family wishes to hold. In all three cases, the pace is set by the organisation's own rhythm, not by a billing schedule.

Methodological note

The advisor takes no operational role in any engagement. The authority of the business remains with its leadership throughout.

Quiet Audit

ENGAGEMENT I

Quiet Audit

4 weeks · RM 1,140

A four-week reading of a small business or department in which the advisor moves through the operation as a quiet observer. The audit covers organisational shape, working rhythm, and the quality of the conversations between functions. A written observation is delivered at the close of the engagement, framed as a reading rather than a verdict, and a single review meeting is held with the leader who commissioned the work.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

  • Four weeks of on-site and contextual observation
  • Reading of organisational shape and working rhythm
  • Assessment of inter-functional communication quality
  • Written observation document delivered at close
  • Single review meeting with commissioning leader

PROCESS

  1. 01Initial conversation to scope the engagement
  2. 02Four weeks of quiet observation in the organisation
  3. 03Composition of the written observation
  4. 04Delivery of written document and review meeting

Best suited to: businesses that suspect something is not working well but cannot name what it is; leadership teams preparing for a strategic decision who want an honest outside read first.

Long Companion

ENGAGEMENT II

Long Companion

12 months · RM 2,720

A twelve-month accompaniment in which the advisor walks alongside a small leadership team through their working year. Monthly conversations of around ninety minutes are held, with a brief written reflection following each. The companion takes no operational role and offers no directive recommendations; the work is in the steadying presence of an outside reader who remembers the year as it unfolds.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

  • Twelve monthly conversations of approximately 90 minutes
  • Written reflection delivered after each session
  • Continuity of reading held across the full year
  • No operational involvement or directive authority
  • Brief end-of-year written summary on request

PROCESS

  1. 01Scoping conversation to establish the working relationship
  2. 02Monthly sessions held at a time and location to suit the team
  3. 03Written reflection composed and delivered within a week of each session
  4. 04Year reviewed and continued or concluded by mutual agreement

Best suited to: leadership teams navigating a year of significant change; founders who want a thoughtful outside reader without adding another operational voice to the organisation.

Generational Counsel

ENGAGEMENT III

Generational Counsel

Open cadence · from RM 4,830

An engagement supporting the considered transfer of a closely held business between generations. The counsel attends to structure — ownership, governance, distribution — and to the slower work of meaning, narrative, and relationship. The engagement is open-ended in cadence, structured around the family's own readiness rather than an external timeline. Sessions are held privately, and written records are kept only where the family wishes.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

  • Private sessions with family members, separately or together
  • Attendance to ownership, governance, and distribution structure
  • Narrative and relational work at the family's own pace
  • Written records held only with the family's explicit consent
  • Open cadence — no fixed schedule or imposed timeline

PROCESS

  1. 01Preliminary conversation with the commissioning family member
  2. 02Separate conversations with all family members who wish to participate
  3. 03Structural and relational work proceeds at the family's readiness
  4. 04Engagement remains open for as long as it serves the family

Best suited to: closely held or family businesses facing a generational transition; situations where the structural and relational dimensions of succession are both in play.

STANDARDS ACROSS ALL ENGAGEMENTS

What every engagement carries

Privacy and discretion

All engagement content is confidential. No client information is ever shared, published, or referenced externally.

Written agreements

Scope, fee, and expected outputs are agreed in writing before work begins. There are no verbal understandings that could be misremembered later.

Single advisor continuity

The same advisor who begins the engagement carries it through to the end. There are no handovers, no junior substitutions, no loss of context.

Independence preserved

No referral arrangements, no commission payments, no relationships that would compromise the objectivity of the advisor's observations.

Careful written craft

Every written observation is composed — not transcribed, not generated, not templated. The quality of the writing is part of the quality of the service.

Right of refusal

If, at any stage, the engagement no longer seems useful or appropriate, either party may end it. There is no lock-in, no penalty, and no pressure to continue.
